Bandtober Scoop: Dates through the month of October. Will be sending out one
communication with ALL the meals coming up for the next week. Meals Thursday,
Friday, Saturday (the 16 th , 17 th , 21 st )
Senior Night: November 6 th -Keisha and Betsy cochair senior events. 6:15p, sashes &
ribbons, each senior escorted into the game-announced band/cheer/football-how many
years, name. PLEASE fill out form with the information requested.
Finances: $88,577 in bank, Budget is $166,272 received $92k.
Fundraising: Heather: Raised $46,085 of the $100k goal. Mattress fundraiser $3010
raised, sold 15 mattresses, 21 accessories, 3 bed-in-bags.
Boo Baskets extended through the 20 th . Need volunteers to assemble and deliver.
Please donate treats! Can pick up on the 17 th as well. Please put on neighborhood
pages, preschools, etc.
Ornaments on sale through December! $10 each (Please share the flyer!)
November 11 spirit night-Cheeseburger Bobby’s (20%) in-store purchases only. 3p-8p
December 3 rd -Vendetti’s (30%) ALL DAY! Pick up or dine in-alcohol and delivery not
included.
Mr. Tucker: Performance time this week for the Cherokee comp is odd. Working on next
week’s comp email-should go out tomorrow 10/12. 10/19 personal development for
staff-no practice! Regular Tuesday practice, Wednesday the 21 st Forsyth County band
exhibition at West Forsyth. Last band goes on at 9:30p. We play at 7:30pm. Thursday
regular practice. Band competition on the 24 th .
Friday the 16 th 7:20pm full run in uniforms on the field. Need someone to film the run.
Saturday the 17 th will load out from the stadium. Competing in open class in this show
so we could have a night slot and there is only one Grand Champion for all the bands.
This year will be facing murderous bands-tough road this year for competitions.
October 26 th , no sectionals that day, Halloween concert. Can wear school-appropriate
costumes.
