Tucker’s update 8/23

As always, I hope that everyone had a wonderful weekend! We have a busy week coming up, so let’s get ready to work!
Monday, August 24th
Brass/Drumline/Colorguard Sectional 4-6pm
Tuesday, August 25th
Full Band Rehearsal 4-6:30.
Rosati’s Spirit Night! Swing by Rosati’s after practice for great food and to support the Band! Dine in or Carryout! 15% of the Sales come back to the Band!! MAKE SURE YOU PUT YOUR RECIEPT IN THE BUCKET AS YOU LEAVE!!!
Thursday, August 27th
Full Band Rehearsal 4-6:30pm
Friday, August 28th
Away Game vs. Pope HS. We won’t be performing the Halftime show at Pope. More details will come out next week. We will wear Show Shirts and Dark Shorts, but students are encouraged to accessorize with Gold for the “Gold Out” theme! Pope didn’t send a pre-order, so make sure you eat before we go. The Concession lines will be LONG!
4-4:45pm - Pregame Meal in the Bandroom Hallway.

4:45pm – Set-up on Practice Field for quick Rehearsal and Show Run.
5:30pm – Friends and Family Show Run. Parents are welcome to attend.
5:45pm – Load Trailer. We will NOT be taking the Front Ensemble equipment or props.
6:00pm – Depart for Pope HS.
7:00pm – Arrive and Unload.
7:30pm – Kick-off
We should be back around 10:45-11ish.
Saturday, August 29th
Saturday Full Band Camp. We’ll rehearse from 12noon to 7pm.
Please make sure you eat LUNCH before you get here!
At 3pm, we’ll have a Snack Break.
We have missed several outside rehearsals due to Rain, Lightning, and Heat, so it will crucial that we get caught up on this Saturday!! We are quickly getting behind on our schedule and we may be forced inside this week as well due to Temperatures in the 90s…..
Attendance is CRUCIAL!
Make sure you have Sunscreen, Water Jug, Hat, and anything else that you might need to make this day productive!!

Away Game vs. Chattahoochee HS. This is an Early Release Day for us. All students MUST go home at 12:55pm as we will have meetings and such that afternoon.
We will NOT be performing at Halftime at this game.
We will wear Show Shirts and Dark Shorts, but students can accessorize with Western gear for “Western Out” game theme.
We realize that this is the Friday before Labor Day and some of you may be heading out for a quick vacation. We need our Leadership and key players to be there, but understand if you’re going out of town.

6:00 Report to Bandroom. Bandroom will not be open until then. Load the trailer.
6:15pm Depart for Chattahoochee HS
