Band camp info

Greetings Flash of Crimson Marching Band!

It’s almost time for Band Camp 2026!!  I hope that you’re all excited to learn our 2026 show “Rach Symphony: Live and Loud!”

Here is the Band Camp Information 2026 and has a LOT of information about Band Camp and the season!  Please read carefully!

Band Camp Information 2026.pdf

Band Camp Schedule:

July 13th and 14th - Drumline/Colorguard Camp from 9AM-4PM.

July 15th-17th - Full Band Camp (Woodwinds, Brass, Drumline and Colorguard) from 9AM-5PM.  Woodwinds, Brass, and Drumline will wear your White T-Shirts with your name an instrument written on them.  This helps everyone get to know each other!

July 20th-24th - Full Days of Band Camp from 9AM-6PM.  Dawg Day will be on July 24th and we’ll send out another Announcement about how this will work.

July 28th, 30th and August 4th - Evening Rehearsals from 5-8:00PM

Please note, July 24TH is Dawg Day.  This is ran by the school and is a chance to walk the school, pick up lockers, parking pass, PE uniforms and spirit gear.

Seniors: 9 - 10:30AM

Juniors and Sophomores: 11-12:45

Freshmen: 1:30-3PM

We also have pictures that day as well.  We will give the members time off to go do their Dawg Day stuff and then they’ll come back to camp.

We also have our July Band Booster Meeting next Monday, July 13th at 7pm in the FCHS Cafeteria.  We’d love to have everyone there and we’ll be happy to answer any last second questions about Band Camp!

We’d also like to invite everyone to join the Band App.  We post all of our announcements in the Band App as well as sending it out via CutTime.

We also have a Facebook page called:

The “Official” FCHS Flash of Crimson Band Group 2026-2027 that you can join.

There are two membership questions that you’ll have to answer:

  1. What is the Nickname of the Band?  Flash of Crimson.

  2. What is the name of the Director?  Tom Tucker or Amy Caputo (either will work).

Just keep in mind that I don’t check Facebook very often, so it may not be the most up-to-date on the information.  The other parents usually answer questions on there pretty quick.
