Monthly General Meeting

June 8, 2026

Location: FCHS Cafeteria, 131 Almon C Hill Drive, Cumming, GA 30040

Welcome: Michelle Der

Uniform Fittings in hallway

Band Camp: Scott Mulkay-Ella’s Dad with Maria Park

Dates for band camp listed and on website.

Needs for marchers: hats, sunglasses, sunscreen, extra socks, water bottle w/name

Parents: donations (114 marchers) food and drink donations, school doing lunch and

breakfast, we will have snack, salad, etc. everyone bring grapes, items divided by last

name this year instead of by grade. (sent out in cuttime) Bring both weeks if

percussion/colorguard.

New band camp check-in process. Wear your white shirt with your name/instrument on

it or we will provide one for you.

Two parent volunteer shifts this year, 8:45-12:45 and 12-4p. EOD aluminum pan

washers

$100,000 fundraising gap

Fundraising: Heather

Sponsorships: by 7/13 want 20 new sponsors

Fundraising: Spirit nights each month, boo baskets, chili cook-off, egg my yard, pick a

date to donate calendar, student item sales

Directors: Mr. Tucker-still planning some of the show concepts, getting ready for band

camp, may not get show music until band camp. Email 2 weeks before band camp with

all band camp information. Sunday emails from Tucker with all the details for marching

band season. Cut-time, Band app and email communication formats.

Day or two before band camp-start hydrating, get rest.
