Hello all,
We have 3 Rehearsal Changes that we need everyone to note. We are:
-Cancelling the October 10th Saturday Camp (due to incoming weather)
-Adding a Friday Evening Rehearsal on October 16th from 3:30pm-8:00pm (to replace cancelled Saturday Camp)
-Adding a Friday Evening Rehearsal on October 24th from 4:00pm-6:30pm (due to early Saturday Performance Time)
For our Members that work, please do your best to get off to be at these rehearsals!!

Friday, October 9th
Away Game vs. North Forsyth HS. We’ll be wearing Show Shirts and Dark Shorts/Pants. The high for Friday has changed to 75, so I’d bring a jacket as it’s been getting chilly in the evenings. As this is a Camo Out game, you’re welcome to accessorize with Camo.
Please keep in mind, you need to wear your Show Shirt as it acts as your ticket into the game and helps the Chaperones identify our Band Students.
4-5pm Pre-Game Meal.
5pm Set-up on Practice for Show Run
5:30-6:00 Rehearse
6:00 Show Run Performance. Parents, Friends and Family welcome.
6:10 Pack up and Load the Trailer. We will NOT be performing at Halftime at North. Stands only.
6:30 Depart for North Forsyth.
6:50 Arrive at North Forsyth and unload.
This is North Forsyth’s Homecoming, so neither band is performing at Halftime. Our break will be at Halftime and we’ll be back in the stands at 3rd quarter.
Saturday, October 10th
As everyone is probably aware, there is a weather situation developing into the weekend. At this point, we have a forecast of 100% rain.
So, we are going to CANCEL the Saturday Camp and ADD a rehearsal on Friday, October 16th.
We desperately need to be in the Stadium for balancing the music, and fixing the drill from a higher vantage point.
I hate to change schedules, but the weather is not cooperating with us this coming weekend. Thanks for understanding!!

Thursday, October 15th
Away Game vs. West Forsyth HS. This is West Forsyth’s Homecoming, so we will only be playing in the stands.

6:00pm Load the Truck
6:30pm Depart for West Forsyth HS

Friday, October 16th
Online Learning Day.
ADDED Rehearsal on this day from the CANCELLED Oct. 10th Saturday Camp.
3:30pm Report and start moving to the Stadium.
4:00pm Rehearse in the Stadium with FULL props.
6:00pm Dinner and get dressed in Uniform.
6:45pm Rehearse
7:20pm Full Show
7:30pm Pack up
8:00pm Dismiss
October 17th
Riverbend Invitational Marching Band Competition at Cherokee High School.
Schedule:
12:00 Report and start setting up at the Stadium. Eat a good Lunch prior to reporting!!!
12:30 Rehearse
2:30 Load Equipment and eat
3:30 Depart for Cherokee HS.
4:30 Arrive at Cherokee HS. Eat and get dressed.
5:50 Unload Equipment
6:50 Warm-up
7:30 Transit to Gate
7:50 Perform
8:00 Load Truck
9:30 Awards

Please note that we have also ADDED a Rehearsal on Friday, October 23rd as well from 4:00-6:30pm.
We have an EARLY Prelims Performance on the October 24th Competition (11:30am), so we won’t have time to rehearse before we leave that day.
Sorry for all of the schedule changes, but with Marching Band being an Outdoor Activity, you have to be flexible with the weather.
