Tucker’s Update 10/11
Greetings all,
I hope you all stayed safe and dry this weekend!
For this upcoming competition weekend, we need ALL students to go here and order a meal for Dinner at the Cherokee HS Riverbend Competition!
You need to enter your email address, click that you’re from Forsyth Central and choose what you want. The combo meals are around $10. This is what we’ll have for Dinner on Saturday, 10/17.

The boosters will be providing Dinner of the Added Friday night Rehearsal on 10/16!
This is from my announcement from the other day!
We have 3 Rehearsal Changes that we need everyone to note. We are:
-Cancelling the October 10th Saturday Camp (due to incoming weather)
-Adding a Friday Evening Rehearsal on October 16th from 3:30pm-8:00pm (to replace cancelled Saturday Camp)
-Adding a Friday Evening Rehearsal on October 24th from 4:00pm-6:30pm (due to early Saturday Performance Time)
For our Members that work, please do your best to get off to be at these rehearsals!!

Woodwind/Drumline/Colorguard Sectional 4-6pm\
Tuesday, October 13th
Full Band Rehearsal 4-6:30\
Thursday, October 15th
Away Game vs. West Forsyth HS. This is West Forsyth’s Homecoming, so we will only be playing in the stands.
4-5pm Pre-Game Meal
6:00pm Load the Truck
6:30pm Depart for West Forsyth HS

Friday, October 16th
Online Learning Day.
ADDED Rehearsal on this day from the CANCELLED Oct. 10th Saturday Camp.
Make sure you have your Bibbers, Dinkles, and Black Socks for the FULL run!!
3:30pm Report and start moving to the Stadium.
4:00pm Rehearse in the Stadium with FULL props.
6:00pm Dinner and get dressed in Uniform.
6:45pm Rehearse
7:20pm Full Show
7:30pm Pack up
8:00pm Dismiss
October 17th
Riverbend Invitational Marching Band Competition at Cherokee High School.
Schedule:
12:00 Report and start setting up at the Stadium. Eat a good Lunch prior to reporting!!!
12:30 Rehearse
2:30 Load Equipment and eat
3:30 Depart for Cherokee HS.
4:30 Arrive at Cherokee HS. Eat and get dressed. Make sure you order your meal ASAP from the link above!!
5:50 Unload Equipment
6:50 Warm-up
7:30 Transit to Gate
7:50 Perform
8:00 Load Truck
9:30 Awards

Please note that we have also ADDED a Rehearsal on Friday, October 23rd as well from 4:00-6:30pm.
We have an EARLY Prelims Performance on the October 24th Competition (11:30am), so we won’t have time to rehearse before we leave that day.
Sorry for all of the schedule changes, but with Marching Band being an Outdoor Activity, you have to be flexible with the weather.
