Forsyth Central Band Booster Meeting 9/14/2026

Volunteer committees: Chaperones, props, uniforms, concessions, banquet
Spirit Wear: Shop through end of October (flashofcrimson.org) sales@thelogostore.com with any
questions about your orders.
Finances: Mary-Income $132,984 less expenses $66,485=$66,499. In Bank $90,600 to
get through the entire year. Lots of expenses left to come out. $25,000 left outstanding
in band dues from students. Uniforms, MB, CG, percussion, non marchers due today.

Fundraising: $40,225 raised so far (Sponsor my show, Company Sponsorships)
Sponsor my show raised $4,380, Apple Airpods-Nathan Smith, JBL headphones-
Braden Der, $50 gift card-Claudia Schumaker, JBL Bluetooth Speaker-Lane Smith, JBL
headphones-Alaina Stone, JBL Bluetooth Speaker-Abby Dale.
Mattress fundraiser this Saturday, Please volunteer (students), parents to chaperone.
Share on social media. Can play instruments as a group, let us know what they will be
playing and who with (if possible).
October Fundraiser Boo Baskets: $15 order between Sept 20-Oct 15. Delivery Oct 16-
30. Contents vary, different by age group, within 10 miles from school. Will have a pick
up option. PLEASE donate treats! Will need volunteers to make the baskets.
Christmas-holiday ornament fundraiser. 3 options, FC logo, Bulldog logo, FoC logo Will
have them at the concession stands and on the website. $10 each
Spirit night this Wednesday at Chickfila mobile order use code Central, 10/7 Los Rios
Cantina both are all day fundraisers!
Band Camp: October 10 th
Tom Tucker: Thank you for helping Friday night with the weather, chaperones,
concession helpers. All State info was sent out via email-this year district band will be
held at FOCAL and here. 370 in district band-290 from Forsyth county, Cherokee 70
kids. All performances will at the FOCAL, one band will practice at Central. May need
parents to chaperone some on Friday and Saturday morning.
8 th grade night next Thursday, 24th. Need parent helpers. Sit them with their sections.
5:30pm pizza for 8 th graders and our band kids. 6pm doors locked no more kids can
enter. Kids will practice and then head to stadium. Our kids will do halftime show-may
be able to wear uniforms if the weather is cool enough. Chaperones needed at 4:45-
look for SignUp Genius.
1st competition new Cherokee High School on October 17 th (Rinehardt Pkwy), 10/24
South Forsyth High School, 11/7 West Forsyth.
107 kids this year, last year 134 kids in the band. Drumline and guard about the same,
short in winds. Comps based on winds-we are now in the middle of 3A. You can bump
up to Open class…can’t bump down. If staying 3A we go on earlier in the comps. Will
be in running for Silver Division Grand Champions (a, aa, aaa). Gold Division Grand
Champions (aaaa, open)
This Friday friends and family at 5:30p. Away bands will never do halftime. (Away game
nights will do friends and family shows.)
Mr. Tucker does not wear pants-students should wear pants.
