South Comp update

Here’s is some information about the Competition at South Forsyth on October 25th.
We need all members to click on this link and choose a meal provided by the Band Boosters for next Saturday’s competition (NOT TOMORROW).

**Meal choice MUST BE RECEIVED NO LATER THAN MONDAY, OCTOBER 20TH @ 9am! **
If you do not submit a meal choice, you will need to bring $ for concessions on your own. Meals will be delivered after our Prelims performance.
Tentative Schedule for the day:
8:30am Open Bandroom and start moving to stadium.
9:00 Rehearse
10:45 Load and eat Brunch
12:00noon Depart for South Forsyth
12:15 Arrive at South Forsyth. Unload and get dressed.
1:30 Warm-up
2:10 Leave Warm-up
2:20 Gate Time
2:30 Performance
2:50 Preliminary Awards. Band Leadership on the Field, Directors in the press box.
***At 2:50, we’ll find out when we perform for Finals. It will be between 4:30 and 7:20pm. Depending on our Finals performance time, we’ll have to adjust our schedule accordingly. I’ll post the schedule on the Band App and send a message in CutTime.
NOTE: Depending on when our Performance time is for Finals, the Boosters are providing Dinner.

COMPETITION DAY:
ADMISSION
General Admission is $16.00. Tickets are available for advanced purchase or at the gate. Use this link on GoFan. Something we love to encourage is continuing band in high school for our middle schoolers. This year, Middle School Band Students can receive a $5 Student Admission by wearing their school band shirt! (An adult must also attend.)
ARRIVAL
Spectators should use our main entrance at: 585 Peachtree Parkway, Cumming, GA 30041. All spectators will access the Main Parking Lot here, and reach the Stadium through the School Courtyard. Please see the attached diagram. Band check-in and bus drop-off is also in the front of the school at this same address. Equipment trailers should come in the school behind the stadium using 2965 Ronald Reagan Blvd entrance.

**CONCESSIONS & SOUVENIRS **
Concessions will be available throughout the day. Your support of our contest through the purchase of concessions is greatly appreciated. Official NGMBC apparel will be offered at the event. South Forsyth Band Families will also be offering Bake Sale items, Spirit Pops, Raffle tickets, and Shout Outs for purchase.
