Greetings all,

Here’s the schedule for the week

Tuesday & Thursday, August 11th and 13th

Full Band Rehearsals

4:00 PM – 6:30 PM

Please make sure that the kids have clothes to dress out in (shorts, t-shirts, hat), bringing suncreen, and most importantly WATER JUGS!!! We’re seeing too many kids wearing Blue Jeans and Hoodies for practices. Members are required to be dressed appropriately for practices!

Keep in mind that we are planning to play in the Stands at the Scrimmage Game on

Friday, August 14th

Since the Game Theme is “White Out”, let’s all wear White T-Shirts and Dark Shorts. It’s going to the be HOT!

Scrimmage Game vs. Mountain View HS

Schedule:

3:40 Dismiss.  All Students must go home and eat dinner!  The Bandroom will be closed and locked.

6:45 Arrive at Band Room to get ready

7:10 Head to the Stadium

7:20 Play National Anthem

7:30 Kick-off

8:30ish We’ll dismiss at Halftime. We will NOT be performing the Halftime show.

Next week:

Monday, August 17th

Woodwind, Drumline and Guard Sectional 4-6pm

Tuesday, August 18th

Full Band Rehearsal 4-6:30pm

Thursday, August 20th

Full Band Rehearsal 4-6:30pm

Friday, August 21th

Home Football Game vs. Creekview HS

I’ll have more information coming soon about the Creekview Game, but here’s the general idea.

4:00 5:00 - The Booster will serve Pre-Game meals for students that order them. I’ll have a link next week.

5::30 - Rehearse in the Bandroom for the Game.

6:50 - Move to the Stadium

7:20 - National Anthem

7:30 - Kick-off

We should have out “Rach Symphony” Show Shirts for the members, so we’ll wear that with dark shorts and athletic shoes.
