Friday Night Lights: meal ordering for Q3-Wednesdays at 6p - flashofcrimson.org to order.
Volunteer Opportunities: marketing monthly fundraisers, seek sponsorships, Work Ameris, Join a
committee, Donate items, Buy some spirit wear (available by 8/11) orders entered by 8/16 delivered
8/20, Show up to the show!
Committees: Chaperones, props, uniforms, concessions, banquet.
Finance:
$75K in bank-new speakers and carts have arrived!
Dues/Fees: Last payment due tonight, $112k from dues-budget $275k leaves a gap…

Fundraising: Sponsor my show fundraiser-so far we have raised $2755-extended through 8/31. Raise
$100-kid gets an entry for a cool prize!
T-shirt fundraiser for color guard-ends 8/11. Delivered 9/30
8 new sponsors for July (goal of 5)
Spirit night-Tuesday 8/25 at Rosati’s Pizza (giving 15%)
Sept 16 th -Chik-fil-a
Sept 19 th -mattress fundraiser at the school-will be asking students to help during the sale for about an
hour.
Directors: Mr. Tucker-Scrimmage on Friday-no Sunday email, will have one out tonight at 8pm. The
county is hopefully going to let us use the Band App. This Friday’s theme is whiteout. Can wear band
camp white t-shirt if they want. White shirt, black shorts and shoes. Brutally hot this week, stay
hydrated. Marchers come to practice wearing blue jeans and hoodies-not good! Bring rehearsal
clothes, water jugs, sunscreen. Show shirts next week can wear the following week for the Creekside
game. Will play the whole game.
This Friday’s scrimmage-After school kids need to go home and eat. Be back by 6:45p go to stadium,
play first and second quarter-then the kids can go home about 8:45p.
