Tucker’s Update 10/18/26
Greetings,
I hope everyone got some rest after a busy Friday and Saturday! I think we had a strong performance Saturday night and we have a lot to build on.
Congrats to the Drumline on winning High Percussion with a score of 97. We had Superior Ratings in Band, Percussion, and Drum Major. The Colorguard recieved an Excellent Rating.
As for the scoring for Band, we ended up 2nd in Music Performance, 3rd in Music Effect, and 4th in Visual. We really need to make some strides in the Marching/Visual areas.
I’m proud of the kids for working hard and laying it out there. And I’m very proud of our Prop Parents/Chaperones/Prop Pushers/etc. that busted their tails to get the show on!!

Tuesday, October 20th
Full Band Rehearsal -4:00-6:30pm
Wednesday, October 21st
Forsyth County Marching Band Exhibition at West Forsyth High School.
4:00 Winds and Battery Report to Practice Field for Visual Run. Be in Bibbers, Dinkles, and Black Socks. Front Ensemble load equipment.
4:20 Winds and Battery Load equipment.
5:00 Depart for West Forsyth. We must be pulling out at 5:00pm!!
5:25 Arrive and Unload
6:15 Be seated in Stands. I believe that we’ll be bringing dinner to the stands.
6:25 National Anthem
6:30 West Forsyth. After West Forsyth performs, we’ll start moving to our equipment on the track.
7:00 South Forsyth.
7:30 Forsyth Central. After we perform, we’ll move our props and front out to the truck. Front Ensemble and Loading Crew will start loading as everyone else returns to their seats. We must have all equipment loaded at this time.
8:00 North Forsyth
8:30 East Forsyth
9:00 Denmark
9:30 Lambert
As soon as Lambert plays their last note, everyone needs to get back and load the buses. It’s going to be a late night already.
Thursday, October 22nd
Full Band Practice 4:00-6:00pm. I know we’ll be tired from the Exhibition, but we’ll really need this practice!! We’ll end at 6:00pm to get a little off time!
Friday, October 23rd
ADDED Full Band Practice 4:00-6:30pm. We’re hoping to be in the Stadium.
Saturday, October 24th
8:00am – Report to the Band Room. Front Ensemble starts loading. Winds and Battery will do a Visual Run on the Practice Field before we leave. Everyone should be dressed in Bibbers, Dinkles, and Black Socks. I would suggest bringing a change of clothes as we’ll be at South Forsyth all-day!
8:45am – Depart for South Forsyth HS
9:10am – Arrive at South Forsyth HS and start unloading. Boosters will provide a snack.
10:44am -Warm-up
11:30AM – Prelims Performance
12 noon – Return equipment to Truck
12:15 – Eat Lunch and change. Boosters will be serving sandwiches at the truck. After this, members are encouraged to go watch Bands perform.
2:40pm – Awards in the Stadium. Leadership in uniforms on field for that.
We won’t find out our Finals performance time until this point. I’ll send out a CutTime message and Band App post as soon as I have the schedule.
If I had to estimate, I would figure that we’ll be going on around 7ish that evening.
Dinner will be on your own, so make sure you bring some $$.
